Stroll, Stroll, Stroll your Stroller Around

It has officially been 2 years of our baby girl Gigi and it has also officially been 2 years of pushing a pram and stroller around. Daily. Almost everywhere we go. As much as we have been huge fans of babywearing (meaning me and the baby) we have also had our fair share of pram days. Especially over the last  year since she got too tall and heavy for me to carry around. And we never compromised on activities we do either. I mean not only did we go to multiple countries but also went to beach, mountains, cobble stone city walks, parks, forrest paths, planes and so on. Our living situation has also required many many hikes up and down the stairs with the pram in one hand and baby in the other, taking all the transporations, from mentioned planes to trams, buses, trains, taxis. You name it, we did it.
So it is only fair I do a recap of the prams and strollers we have used and loved. I can honestly say I do not regret any of them and if what I write about them sounds like something you might need I am also adding links for you to be able to check them out some more.

Cosatto

My beautiful dark blue Giggle Quad in Lunaria Ink Amazing, unique and affordable brand of prams, stollers, car seats and high chairs. Actually they even have baby doll strollers for when your little ones want to stroll around with their dolls. But you know make it extra stylish. And durable. That is what I love about this brand. Their products are really different to anything out there. They are fun and colorfull while staying in a great price range. But never sacrificing on quality. Our first pram 3in1 combo was my best decision. Took me months to decide on it and I can’t fault it. I mostly used our pram with the car seat as I was always going around London and not knowing if I’ll have to jump in a taxi. That is where having a car seat with me always came in handy. Also flew out to see my family in Slovakia with it. It was real easy and airline staff made it seamless for me. Helped me with taking the pram apart, getting it on and off the plane without an issue etc. As far as design I went for more of their tame once while still making sure baby had a high contrast graphics on the inside to stimulate her brain. They no longer sell the same one I have but I am going to share with you some of the other once I love. Simpler and wilder

This was only an issue with their warehouse. All our accessories have been delivered without the actual pram, but after a quick call to the CS they tracked my order down and I was practising my walks with a pram within a few days. Also I would like to add a note about their amazing service of returning a used pram. If you are no longer in need of your pram , instead of it taking up space or going to landfill (which is a huge shame for your memories, money and most importantly our planet) they will buy the used pram back from you. You will recieve money back based on the conditiom of your pram and then it can go to a new family.

Hauck

At 6-7 months I had to swap to a stroller as baby was now sitting and no longer happy in her pram no matter the attachment. I also needed something that would be only 1 piece instead of two (the way Cosatto pram is) as we were planning on doing quite a few flights. So i went for a real simple, all black Hauck stroller Move so Simply. It was £300 and so worth it. It truly ticked all my boxes. Easy to fold, good on any terrain, big basket and very comfy for baby. I needed a stroller that could go into rough parks but also be good on cobble stones in old parts of London. It’s fair to say we did a serious millage on this one. Took it all around London, flew on plane multiple times and went on countless adventures around Europe. Summer or winter- we had no issues. It even survived snow without ever getting stuck.

https://www.argos.co.uk/product/3633632 Unfortunatelly after about 10 month we did have to swap for 3 simple reasons. 1) I managed to mess up the folding mechanism and it got a little harder to fold up. Which was an issue as we lived in a walk up flat and I had to carry the pram up and down at least once a day. 2) As the summer was rolling in and we were planning on having a big European summer I couldn’t imagine how hot the little one would be inside such a black stroller. 3) Girlie grew so much and we were worried about her comfort at this point too. It is a big and spacies stroller, dont get me wrong but there were times where she was so restless. Which meant, another upgrade was needed. That is where I let my sister to finally convince me to get my first EasyWalker. She has only ever bought from this brand and could not stop singing their praise sooo

Easy Walker

Like I mentioned above I needed an upgrade and that is what I got. For about £250 I got myself a Miley 2 in Sage Green. I really wanted a more compact ride that will give my now toddler a super comfort no matter where we go. Also the color has kept her real cool all summer long and dont let those small wheels fool you. We went on a mountain trip and expect for few moments where we had to double team it and carry the stroller up some gravel- we had no issues. Also beach days on our recent trip to Croatia has been great. The stroller can surprisingly carry a lot. And dont get me started on their amazing accessories. I use my cup and phone holder every single day. At this point I feel lost without it. Next thing I will be getting is a wheel attachment so the kiddo can play around and pretend she is the one doing all the work.

I do hope this has been helpfull to those about to enter this stage of their life or those thinking of replacing their current ride. As I mentioned I do not regret any of these as they have served us really well and were super worth the price. If I was to ever look for options in higher price point I would look at the prams from EasyWalker and Bugaboo but as far as strollers I havent found better option for us just yet.
Till next time
Deni
