Friyay or what

As it is Friday evening and I am sat in a club in my party dress and full on glam look - well more like sat in my room, by laptop, with top knot on my head, running eyeliner and sexy pjs on- I thought it is only fair to go back something I used to do probably three years ago. Little music favs post. You know, trying to get you all pumped up for the weekend. It doesn´t matter if you are going out with your mates or spending night in on your own, with your bae, puppy etc. These songs will make your life better. 

Wish I wore : Basic Me

Nothing wrong bout being basic. In a way. There are days when I want to be out there! Make a statement. Then there are some when I couln´t get any more basic. Seriously! And sometimes I meet my moods somewhere in the middle. On those I wish I had these stuff in my closet to make myself feel good bout my life choices. Let´s see ahah

There is something bout this shirt that just talked to me. I was seriously dawned to it. And the rest of the outfit just made sense ahaha. If you saw my last outfit of the day post you know that this combination was my uniform for last few weeks. It is crazy comfortable cause of the jeans and vans slip ons. You can cover up, add layer or -as I do- hide your bum by tying flannel round your waist. And then just accessorize. That is a part where YOU decided how fancy or casual you wanna be. Maybe you want some grunge, maybe you wanna be posh, 90s?!  I added DIOR glasses that I am obsessed with, bit of shine this the bag and little "jenny from the block" vibe with the hoops.

This is another outfit you would definitely see me rocking IRL. Simple and comfy dress is a must in woman´s wardrobe. Plus this number is so versatile. I love layering, especially at this time of a year when you have no guarantee of the weather. Leather jacket is something I wear everyday and simple sweater with an interesting cut would add real chic feel. Booties give you little height but keep it rock chick looking, bit of color with givenchy and cat eye sunnies. Once you layer the clothes you might as well layer the necklaces right? In over all you have something you´d see in movies like LOL or even in Gossip Girl.

As last I have my currently fav look. This is my "trust me I am a good girl, ignore those horns and all" type of look. The skirt, Dc.Martens and backpack give a school girl feel and adding jacket, basic stripes AND a choker gives 90s vibe. I am just digging it. Need it all in my life asap.

Clear head and mind

One of the perks of living by water my whole life was, how quickly I distressed the moment I saw the moving, standing, floating... water. There has always been something bout it that made me so calm. Cleared my head. Made me happier.
Living so far away from things and people I knew since I was born can be hard, but then I grew up walking on riverside and that is something that didn´t change. I live by sea now which somehow has even bigger effect on me.

Whenever I go to Crosby beach or to docks I feel like I am back home. I can almost hear the voice of my mom and friends. I know it might seem weird but I do get homesick and thats what happens when you miss someone so much.

I mean look at the photo above. If that endless water doesn´t calm you down I don´t know what will. And listening to the sounds of nature and families with children playing on beach has to bring you smile. Oh and those cute dogs running round and having time of their lives. Come on!

 I wore my lately go to outfit. Only thing I change up is the hoodie. Sometimes I just wear flannels.
Primark jeans, TK Maxx jacket, C&A shirt, VANS shoes, British Red Cross thrifted bag, Primark sunnies and scarf from boutique in hungary.

I always wondered

There has always been a rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester. Not only in football but I feel like people felt that way too, the way city runs, clubs, shopping centers, etc.  One of my friends said that these two cities compete in who has better pride march too. Even I felt competitive against them slightly more on hair competition a month ago then I did with anyone else. Guess it is just something in the air.

So obviously I had to visit Manchester- after i lived right next to it for a year and half- and see what the fuss is about! And let me tell you, my brain is so messed now! Not sure what I like more Man or Liv! Both are amazing but there is something bout both, just... hm ahha

 What would I recommend?!
- Manchester Arts Gallery - beautiful painting, real well organized, some of the work caught my eye so much and some I still think bout
- Albert square- if you are a fan of architecture you ´d be in slight heaven
- Manchester Cathedral and Shambles Square - old and beautiful!
- Mr Thomas´s Chop House - loved the vibe of this place, stuff was super friendly and funny, music amazing chilled acoustic covers and any beer you can think of
- Coliseum - I am a sucker for this type of architecture and for some reason I could stand and stare at this old building and have no clue of time

And there are definitely more things to see and places to go. This is just a few that pop up in my head. And to be honest I spend three hours in that pub so :)

The biggest one so far

So I have been trying to write this post for ever now. I also decided that I want it to go up before anything else does because it feels way more special to me then just some tuesday inspiration post I have lined up. But I couldn´t seem to find words. Funny isn´t?! You´d think after 6 years I´d be used to sobbing over my life ahah.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall

One of the first things you learn the moment you enter my life is, I take photos of everything, everywhere and at any time. Simply me! So no wonder I take photos of my outfits - the "classy" way- in mirrors, pretty often. Until very recently I had no idea why I am doing this. I only had a little voice inside my head telling me to do so. But after I read a blog post by Rebecca or AClothesHorse about 6 ways blogging changed her style, I realized I can actually learn so much from the photos I take all the time. I could actually get to know myself a bit more. 

Now I am a 19 year old, soon to be 20 and going through that time where I feel like I am exactly where I wanna be but still questioning my life choices. I am sure I am only about to find my style. We both, you and me, seen me change from one style to other multiple times. There is no chance that this will stop any time soon. So the thought of documenting my every day apparel and seeing the differences, the styles, the cuts, colors or trends I go through could actually be educational or helpful in a way.  Don´t you think so? So then when I am let´s say 21 and having no clue what I am going to do with my life I might actually have one stable thing! I´ll have my style! I´ll eventually find me!

Sara, Adam and Vogue

Have you been keeping up with all the fashion weeks extravaganza so far? I know it seems really hard. So much happening at the same time and let´s admit it, if we aren´t there we probably have a lot more other stuff to do. But I still did find some time to check out what has been happening. So far I have two favorite moments from whole fashion world this year. First was Chanel Paris Haute Couture show and the hairstyles by Sam McKnight models rocked. The second is this teaming up!

Vogue asked Parsons to send one of their photography students- Sara Julia Waller- backstage for a runway show of Adam Selman and show her take on backstage atmosphere. The photos in my opinion turned out to be so fresh, young and energetic. Even Vogue said " the results are just as fun as the clothes themselves."

Isn´t it all so lovely?!

Now here is a thing I knew for a while now and Estee Lalonde has confirmed it to me in one of her latest videos on youtube that, If you want to find your style and image one of the best and easiest ways to do it is finding photos. Looking at blogs, pinterest, tumblr, instagram even. Seeing what others wear and adapting it to your wardrobe. Find similar pieces in your closet as you see on others. Have basic pieces and add something that will eventually become your new and real you.

Reason I am writing all of it is, that I have been looking for outfits this way since I was probably 11 but it is only recently I realized it actually influences my style.

KeyWest

I have mentioned a while back that I like finding new and upcoming artists. I love the freshness and humbleness or musicians who are just starting to feel just how amazing they are. Being a part of their original little fan base seems pretty nice. A while back I discovered on streets of Liverpool Jamie Harrison. I did talk bout him a bit before.  His voice is really soothing for me and the passion he has for music is unreal. 

Yesterday I have been wondering round the city with a friend of mine- as I do, and I could hear a music that basically lead me to this incredible band. Keywest!

 I have seen them round Liverpool for last few days and let me tell you, their looks really caught my eye ahah. But this time it was the sound I hear. A nice mixture of Mumford & a Sons and The Script. Their lyrics pretty and meaningful. Stories behind them were honestly funny at times and the happiness and passion on their faces as they did something they probably live for .... well I could see right a way they will be BIG. I´m telling you!

In a shortcut - you need to start listening to them! Like now ahah. I mean this combination of Irish and British really works. At least for me.

Wish I wore : Hot

These are few outfits I think would be pretty damn hot. And on trend! The only difference in this WIW and all the others is that I didn´t care about the prices. Usually I make this post using clothing pieces I could actually buy and I would pay for. This time I let my mind go loose ahah. So I know that I will never ever get most of these items. But I, it is called Wish I wore for a reason ;) 

On this first outfit I felt in love with trainers. And then the rest just felt in place I guess. This is something I would so wear for a classy day out. Especially now since it is finally so nice and sunny out. Lovin the color combo.

It would have to be slightly warmer for me to wear one of these but oh hey! I am on a hunt for a new denim jacket cause I am so sick of my old one. Also I never ever like this army green. Or any green to be honest. But you know what?! I am actually thinking of getting a lot of it for spring. 

This one is deffinitelly the most classy and fashionista like out of all three. And fun thing is that I am obsessed with every single one of these pieces. I put them together just to try it out after I had all of these items on my wishlist. Suddenly I saw a great outfit getting formed. Love the colors too.
