Lightning and Imagine Dragons

Recently I had a chance to cross an amazing experience off of my bucket list. Thanks to my sister I got to go see Imagine Dragons live in Manchester. She came over so she goes there with me. It has definitely been worth waiting in freezing cold weather and having your lips turn purple.

Not so Common in the place called Common

Recently I have visited Manchester for the best concert I have been to so far. I am pretty sure that this experience will be very very hard to beat and will pretty surely stay in top 5 for a long time. You know it is one of those things where only things like, becoming an auntie, parent, endless love or solving a world hunger etc would make life better. But more about that in another post.

Here I wanted to share a different experience. Something that made my stay in Manchester better. As I stayed over for a night (traveled there with my sister) I needed a nice place to get breakfast. Sister is a huge coffee lover and little expert on the best of best. I am a known foodie. We stayed in Northern Quarter almost Picadilly Gardens area. So where should we go for breakfast that will make the whole concert experience sink in nicely?! Common!
Sweet little-ish place on Edge Street surrounded by plenty other artistic, as my sis says-hipster, cosy and very affordable, friendly staffed places. As you walk towards Common, there is no chance of missing the colorful entrance. Happy Hi and Hello from all sides as you walk in and warm feeling from the heaters we have been die-ing for.

RED.- One of the classiest lip colors, flirtiest and most valentine appropriate. I have loved red lip since I was an youngster. Tried different brands, shades and combinations. Currently I have one TOP mix of products and what a better time to share it with you, then on the Valentine' s day week?! 

Bbb-Birch Box numero One

If you have been my reader for a while, you know that a 'Me time' is real important for me. It is my way of cleansing not only a body but also mind. Switching off and only focusing on myself. Trying out new products, feeling how tight or cold a face mask gets, how soft or rough the skin is or anything else that is - me, me, me! Being bit selfish for a while. As I pamper my clients all day everyday at work, this is sure well deserved haha.
So, I gave myself a rule. In 2018 I have to try new stuff and take care of myself. My body, beauty, health and mental state. As a start I decided to finally get myself onto a Birchbox trend. I have been thinking of ordering a monthly subscription that it offers for a while. And as a combination of my plans and new rule, this seemed like the best time.

Wa Wa Wow

I am becoming a sucker for online shopping. It is hella risky, especially being a plus size girlie, but there sure is something to it. As I am busy with work, traveling, taking care of house etc, this is obviously much easier then going out and bumping into people or waiting in lines. Plus , now that all social media advertises all different shops and apps, it is basically impossible to not get lost in the world of online shopping spree. And so I found this RUE.
What a beauty. I am so obsessed. My shopping cart can' t possibly get any fuller. I am actually scared of ordering something as it might cause an obsession. My bank account would not appreciate that.
But I do feel the need to share my biggest loves with you. Oh and no this is in no way sponsored or anything. I just really like do like their pieces.

Never enough of Opium

What a coincidence. You ask 'Santa' for a perfume and before you know it, you got three. Exactly same once haha. This became our little tradition. Every Christmas all family members get a nice perfume. For last few years i have been obsessed with Chloe. Last year I added a Burberry into my collection. This time around I added Yves Saint Laurent. Black Opium to be exact. I have tried Opium by YSL previously and loved it. I switched it up now and parents surprised. Even each other. So now I have a nice full collection and lots of options. Cheers.

This makes me feel like a child

Every year it comes down to this day. Christmas Eve. The only day, when I feel like that little excited girl, waiting for diner and presents. The moment I sit down by the tree I feel that same De Ja Vu of all the previous times, I have been at the same spot and all lovely memories, which tie to it. Obviously older I get I have slightly new meaning to this. 

As of this year, the presents, had least value to me. I mean I got some and they were all absolutely awesome. Couldn´t be any more grateful. But that wasn´t what I was looking forward to. I wanted to see smile on my families faces. Happines thanks to gifts I gave them and thought I have put into them. Being together- just the four of us, possibly for the last time. From now on things will probably change. Me and my sister, we grow and bring more members to our family now. So it will never be the same. I really wanted to feel this so familiar moment and cherish it.

Tone in Tone

There is such a large scale of colors and shades and tones in the world. One might find it difficult to combine pieces of clothes together. I mean it is a simple task, yet there are few little tricks to master it. As it is winter time, my favorite thing is to layer up. That way you are ready for any occassion a day may bring. Keeping it tone in tone and only adding little touches of other complimentary color is safest thing possible.

Here is grey scale where I also put together materials. Jersey and fluff, sued and leather. Why not. Perfect for comfy and super stylish girl.

A little retro black number. As these jeans have crazy great design including color, you can use that as its complimentary color and accessorize. Have fun with the little things. 

Blue is my favorite color so why not go full on with it ay? Yet again mixing different materials is a key to keep the look interesting . Add few golds or silvers and you really are giving a story of a stylish woman.

Listen to me!

My music taste is jut like a woman's mind. It simply can' t make up it' s mind. It likes this, it likes that and some days it doesn' t have a clue what it wants. It only knows what it doesn' t want. See... just like our brain. And that ladies and gents creates an incredible mixture of songs and genres in my playlist. At first I felt like there is something not alright with me. But now I am actually glad. I can' t imagine listening to the same genre, band or voice on repeat. I need a change. I like a good mix and switching it up a little.

There are songs perfect for walks or runs. They take you somewhere else. Give you that feeling like you are in a music video and every word of the song suddenly gets a brand new meaning for you. That is a good talent on musicians side. But I do want to just get my groove on sometimes and honestly not having to care about songs lyrics, just rhythm. Fake it Till you Make it

Sometime I get this stupid feeling to go on ebay and go nuts. Buy things I obviously do not need or am unsure of. Like the other day. Why did I think that a fake little Vuitton bag is good idea? I really don' t know. As I was waiting for it to arrive I realized it might look crazy bad and cheap. Yet had little hope. 
And it turned out to be super cute little accessory. I am so glad bout my crazy ebay shopping. I  nail it right every time haha. 

 I seemed to have created this little comfort outfit uniform where I go very monochromatic and add little cute accessories to bring in the style. I found myself go after this exact same outfit on multiple occasions. Comfortable, simple and classssssy. Just like me.
